Hello, and welcome. You’re listening to DaHjaj Hol, your daily dose of Klingon language. I’m your host, Lawrence Schoen.
Today’s our last Noun Day, and so I thought I’d go out with something particularly appropriate. Today I give you pab. P, A, B. pab means grammar. The following examples are so easy, you probably don’t even need them.
tlhIngan pab yajchu’ Hoch
everyone clearly understands Klingon grammar
pab Davuvbe’chugh qoH SoH
if you don’t respect grammar, you are a fool
mu’mey vIQoylaH ’ach pab vIQoylaHbe’
I can hear the words, but I cannot hear the grammar
Montgomery Scott once said, “A basic command of grammar is like a basic command of engineering. If you have it, you can do anything.” You don’t want to argue with Scottie, do you? I didn’t think so. Instead, remember, qo’mey poSmoH Hol.

“mu’mey vIQoylaH ’ach pab vIQoylaHbe’ ” A classic insult. 🙂
